Standards Compliance

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an organization developing and promoting open standards on the internet. Comprised of an international consortium of companies, it is the governing body behind HTTP and HTML/XML web standards.

  1. All pages on this site are WCAG AA approved, complying wih all priority 1, 2, and 3 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. However, this is a judgement call; many guidelines are intentionally vague and can not be tested automatically. Following a review of the guidelines I believe that all these pages are in compliance.
  2. All pages on this site use structured semantic markup. H2 tags are used for main titles, H3 tags for subtitles.
  3. The website validates as XHTML Strict and uses valid CSS with the exception of some browser specific hacks
